Dr Catarina Pinto Moreira

PhD in Information Systems and Computer Engineering (University of Lisbon)

She is a Lecturer in Information Systems at the Science and Engineering Faculty, Queensland University of Technology. She is also an associate editor for the Springer Nature journal BMC Bioinformatics, section “Machine learning and artificial intelligence”. She is a pioneer in the development of non-classical probabilistic graphical models for decision making to empower human decision-making.



Andrew Taberner

Physicist and Professor in Auckland Bioengineering Institute,New Zealand.

He leads researchers in the design, construction and development of novel instruments and medical devices. He has supervised 29 PhD, 18 ME and 62 honours students. Andrew has authored more than 140 refereed scientific articles in journals and published conference proceedings, 117 conference abstracts and short papers, and published 28 issued US, European and other patents. He received the 2014 New Zealand “Innovation Excellence in Research” award.





Prof. Nilanjan Dey

Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer and Engineering JIS Unvisersity , Agarpara , Kolkata , India.

He is a visiting fellow of Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Reading,UK and Visiting Professor of Duy Tan University, Vietnam. He was an honorary Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA (2012-2015). He is an Research Scientist of Laboratory of Applied Mathematical Modeling in Human Physiology, Territorial Organization of- Scientific and Engineering Unions, Bulgaria.



Prof. Lumintia Moraru

Professor , Department of Physics, Dunarea de Jos University of Galalti ,Galati , Romania.

She is developing novel computational methods, including medical image reconstruction/analysis. Also her research interests include computational methods in medical imaging, medical image processing and segmentation, computer aided detection/diagnosis, medical image construction techniques and imaging in diagnostic radiology/echography. Complementary, she apply these computational methods in SEM images devoted to archeometric studies for conservation of Romanian Cultural Heritage.





Prof. Earlence T. Fernandes

Professor, Dept. of Computer Sciences , University of Wisconsin-Madison , Madison, WI , USA.

He is Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Computer Science department. His goal is to enable society to gain the benefits of emerging technologies without the security and privacy risks. He have received two best paper awards (at IEEE S&P and IEEE SecDev) for my work in smart home security.



Prof. Naveen Kwatra

Professor , Civil Engineering Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology , Patiala , Punjab , India.

His area of expertise is wind effect on RC buildings, finite element modeling, vibration monitoring on RC structure elements, artificial intelligence. Till date, he has completed number of research project sponsored by DST, AICTE and UGC. He has supervised 45 student of ME Structure and 7 PhD students. Naveen kwatra is also worked as a Faculty Advisor for Civil Construction projects of the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology from 11/2006 to 11/2011.
